![]() ![]() ![]() Laurie Halse Anderson: I'm a little bit - and by a little bit I mean quite a bit - older than Leila, and I think everybody else on this team. But I do think that I got a good sense of who she was as a character, and what she cared about. So my knowledge of the character isn't actually more expansive than that. And then, to see her in pop culture as this mighty, powerful woman was amazing. I don't remember the rest of the team, but I was ecstatic about the artwork, and the character was really cool.
